We arrived on Wallace Island and did our first stern tie to shore. It went pretty well although we’ll be making some adjustments to our procedure.
We found a truck in the middle of the island looking to be in decent shape.
I was able to hotwire it and we drove all over the island hootin’ and hollerin’.
There is an old cabin where cruisers that have come before us have left their boat names on pieces of driftwood.
We promptly hiked down to the beach and found a piece so we could add to the collection.
We’re in Nanaimo now to see our friends and fellow Hans Christian owners, Lance and Carol, and eat some Nanaimo bars.
Wow! Beautiful pictures... what a wonderful start to your adventures.
